The German Abitur opens the doors to Germany’s top universities – and is highly recognised internationally. It provides the ideal preparation for studies in medicine, engineering, business and the natural sciences.
Grade 9
Preparation year: Settling in, intensive German language learning and integration into everyday school life.
Grade 10
Full attendance at regular lessons and selection of the first specialisation.
Grade 11-12
Systematic preparation for the A-level examination.
We recommend that you start learning German whilst still in your home country (e.g. at the Goethe-Institut). This will make it easier for you to settle in here.
